answer text <p>The Department has asked the UK National Screening Committee (UK NSC) to commission a review of the evidence for a universal HIV screening programme in adults. The UK NSC plan to consult on their review in spring 2015.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The Department’s <em>A Framework for</em> <em>Sexual Health Improvement in England</em> (2013) sets out how we will continue to tackle HIV through prevention and increased access to testing to enable early diagnosis and treatment. Also, reducing the proportion of people with HIV diagnosed late is included as an indicator for local authorities in the Public Health Outcomes Framework.</p><p> </p><p><strong> </strong></p><p> </p> more like this

answer text <p>We must not be complacent about level crossing safety. An industry safety framework is in place to manage risks.</p><p> </p><p>As the relevant safety duty holder, Network Rail is best placed to assess the risks at level crossings and ensure that the most appropriate infrastructure is in place given local circumstances.</p><p> </p><p>Having already reduced risk significantly across the network, the company has set further challenging targets for risk reduction at level crossings by 2019. The Department is supporting this work through a dedicated £109 million ring-fenced fund which aims to close around a further 500 level crossings and improve safety at hundreds more of the highest risk crossings.</p> more like this
