As a donor contributing to the establishment of the mechanism, we have been urging the PA to ensure the mechanism works effectively, in order to expedite reconstruction in Gaza. That appointment has been reviewed by the Major Projects Authority which works with HM Treasury and other government departments to provide independent assurance on major projects.
