The UK has had no involvement in, and made no contributions to, the operation. <br><br>We continue to work with Italy and other EU Member States to address migratory pressures in the Mediterranean, for the sake of law abiding citizens and in the best interests of those tempted to make this dangerous journey. The information has been published since 1997 in the Government’s Annual Reports on Strategic Export Controls. Since 2004, this information has also been published in Quarterly Reports. All the available statistics are accessible via the Strategic Export Controls: Reports and Statistics website – <a href="https://www.exportcontroldb.bis.gov.uk/eng/fox/sdb/SDBHOME" target="_blank">https://www.exportcontroldb.bis.gov.uk/eng/fox/sdb/SDBHOME</a>.</p><p> </p><p>Details of export licences granted and refused for defence and strategic equipment to Israel is available in the published annual reports for the calendar years 2011, 2012 and 2013 respectively. Pupils should also be taught about the need for mutual respect and understanding. Pupils may also be taught about diversity and equality through the non-statutory personal, social, health and economic (PSHE) curriculum.</p><p> </p><p>The Department for Education will shortly be publishing new guidance on promoting the spiritual, moral, social and cultural (SMSC) development of pupils, highlighting the importance of pupils gaining knowledge and understanding of different cultures. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 13/10/2014 answer text <p>Since April 2013, the Government has had numerous discussions with the Equality and Human Rights Commission (the EHRC) about research into caste discrimination.</p><p> </p><p>Most of these discussions have concerned the work leading up to the EHRC-commissioned research reports – the ‘Socio-legal review’ and the ‘Experts’ Seminar and Stakeholder Workshop’. These reports looked at issues surrounding caste in Britain and were published in February 2014 as part of its Caste in Britain project. Collectively, NATO as an Alliance discusses, on a regular basis, its nuclear policy, doctrine and capability including forward deployed nuclear forces. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 12/09/2014 answer text <p>Certain provisions of the Mutual Defence Agreement (MDA) are subject to renewal every 10 years to ensure that they remain relevant and valid. The next renewal is due by the end of 2014. To this end, the British and US Governments are taking forward the process of renewing these provisions in line with our respective domestic processes and requirements. Before any amendment to the MDA can take effect, in accordance with the Constitutional Reform and Governance Act 2010, the proposed amendments will be laid before Parliament for scrutiny later in the year. A similar review process is underway in the US.
