They report that the provision of life support systems such as water, electricity and food continue to meet basic humanitarian standards. We remain one of the most vocal and active members of the international community in supporting those calling for human rights in Burma. We regularly raise our strong concerns regarding any violations of human rights with senior members of the Burmese government and military, amongst others. We strongly support work being led by international partners, including the UN, to help Burma better understand the UN Convention Against Torture, and the steps that need to be taken as part of ratification. <br><br>It is the policy of the Government that any judgment on whether war crimes have occurred is a matter for international judicial decision, rather than for governments or non-judicial bodies. Its pre-cursor, the Joint Strategic Group, was set up in early 2013 and also met three times. The Modern Slavery Stakeholder Forum provides an opportunity for the Home Office to engage with partners, understand what is happening on the front-line, and develop policy collaboratively. Non-Governmental attendees have the opportunity to engage with officials and Ministers, and to influence policy making. <br><br>The minutes of these meetings are made available to all attendees and are public documents available to anyone who requests them. However, it is not considered appropriate to place the minutes of each meeting in Library of the House.<br><br>The invite list for these meetings is subject to regular review and attendance varies depending on the availability of those invited and the topics for discussion. At the last meeting of 10 June 2014, 16 public officials attended which included officials from the Home Office, other government departments, law enforcement agencies and the devolved administrations. 20 representatives of non-governmental organisations were invited of whom 15 attended. The reports of the reviews were published in April 2011, March 2013 and, most recently, on 3 June 2014.</p><p> </p><p>All three reviews have found no evidence to suggest any of the techniques evaluated are unsafe. In its most recent report, the expert panel recommended that additional experiments should be completed before the techniques were used in clinical practice. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 30/06/2014 answer text <p>The UK believes strongly that there should be no impunity for serious international crimes, such as those which the Commission of Inquiry found are being committed in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK). We played an active role in ensuring a strong DPRK resolution at the March UN Human Rights Council, including a call for the UN General Assembly to submit the report of the Commission of Inquiry to the UN Security Council for its consideration and appropriate action. In April we and other Security Council members took part in a public “Arria” briefing by the Commission. This was the first time the Security Council had considered DPRK human rights in this way. We also raised the need for a continued focus on human rights during a UN Security Council Sanctions Committee meeting in May.</p><p>On June 18 the Minister of State, my Rt Hon Friend the Member for East Devon (Mr Swire), visited Geneva, where he took part in an Interactive Dialogue with the Special Rapporteur on Human Rights in the DPRK, Mr Mazuki Darusman. Mr Swire also raised the importance of DPRK human rights with the UN Secretary General, Ban Ki-moon and stressed the importance of UN action.
