It enables the return of illegal migrants seeking to irregularly enter both the UK and France.</p><p>The agreement is invoked when an individual without leave in either the UK or France seeks to enter via the Eurotunnel or Channel Port, when we can clearly indicate the time of embarkation and the individual does not claim asylum at the port.</p><p>We continue to work with France on this global migration crisis. However, each of the administrations seeks consistent and coordinated response to disease control across Great Britain (GB) where possible. Avian influenza control measures for the three GB administrations are set out in the <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/notifiable-avian-disease-control-strategy." target="_blank">GB notifiable avian disease control strategy</a> (copy also attached to this answer).</p><p> </p><p>As part of the coordinated GB response to avian influenza, the Animal and Plant Health Agency (APHA) carries out year-round <a href="https://www.gov.uk/guidance/avian-influenza-bird-flu#wild-birds-in-the-uk" target="_blank">avian influenza surveillance of dead wild birds</a> submitted via public reports and warden patrols on behalf of Defra, the Scottish Government and the Welsh Government to help us understand how the disease is distributed geographically and in different types of bird. Through this surveillance, wild birds including Eider ducks, great black-backed gulls, gannets and Arctic terns have been found positive for highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) H5N1 on Shetland. This states that the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency and the UK Research Ethics Services plan to implement a combined review of clinical trials to improve study approval. It aims to deliver a streamlined and efficient approval process through a single application route and a coordinated review. We also plan to introduce a National Contract Value Review to accelerate commercial research studies in the National Health Service. While the Implementation Plan is not specific to any disease area, it aims to benefit the research system, including trials for dementia. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 20/04/2022 answer text <p>We will set out plans for dementia in England, which will include a focus on dementia diagnosis, later this year.</p><p>The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence’s (NICE) guidelines provide evidence-based recommendations for health and care, including on assessment, management and support for people living with dementia and their carers. NICE’s guideline <em>Dementia: assessment, management and support for people living with dementia and their carers</em> states that clinicians should consider FDG-PET and CSF tests when the diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease is uncertain. A copy of the guideline is attached.</p><p>Clinical commissioning groups (CCGs) commission the appropriate resources, including such testing, in line with local population health needs. To address dementia waiting lists and increase the number of diagnoses, NHS England and NHS Improvement was allocated £17 million through the Comprehensive Spending Review settlement for mental health in 2021/22.
