It describes a collection of measures designed to remove rat-running traffic from streets. The key feature is generally a road closure, which prevents through motor traffic from accessing the road but permits cycling and walking. Access is maintained for residents and their visitors and for essential services.</p><p>Closures may be implemented using existing standard traffic management measures such as signed access restrictions to through motor traffic. These are enforceable in the same way and with the same penalties as when used on any other part of the road network. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 05/09/2022 answer text <p>During COP26, 95% of the largest developed country climate finance providers made new, forward-looking climate finance commitments, with many doubling or even quadrupling their support for developing countries to take climate action.We are now encouraging all climate finance providers to bring forward their Progress Update to the $100bn Delivery Plan, led by German and Canadian Ministers.</p><p>Earlier this year, alongside the incoming Egyptian Presidency of COP27 and the High-Level Champions, we announced a new independent High-Level Expert Group on scaling up investment and finance to deliver on climate ambition and development goals.</p><p>In the recently published International Development Strategy, the Government reiterated the Prime Minister’s promise to double our International Climate Finance (ICF) contribution to at least £11.6 billion between 2021-2026. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 05/09/2022 answer text <p>I am grateful to the Honourable Member for securing a debate on this important issue in Westminster Hall on 19 July. As set out in my intervention, Nigeria faces multiple complex security challenges including terrorism, violent criminality and intercommunal conflict. Insecurity in Nigeria has a devastating impact on affected communities and the effects of this are felt in the wider region.</p><p>The UK government works to support the Nigerian Government in carrying out its responsibility to provide security for the Nigerian people, including through our Security and Defence Partnership and efforts to support conflict prevention, peacebuilding and protection of human rights. During my visit to Nigeria in February, I raised rising insecurity and its impact on the Nigerian people in meetings with the Vice President, Foreign Minister and several State Governors. The Prime Minister also discussed insecurity with President Buhari at the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in June. We are taking a coordinated and regional approach to supporting Nigeria and its neighbours, including working with international partners, to address the causes and effects of insecurity.</p><p>We continue to urge and support the Nigerian Government to take urgent action to implement long-term solutions that address the root causes of violence.
