answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 09/11/2020 answer text <p>My Department has published its assessment of the potential merits of investing in maritime decarbonisation.</p><p>In 2015, the Department published the Maritime Growth Study, which considered all aspects of the maritime sector and identified where action could be taken to generate growth. Following the publication of Maritime 2050 in 2019, which builds on the findings of the Maritime Growth Study, the Department published the Clean Maritime Plan, which identified the potential for clean economic growth in the UK as a result of the transition to zero emission shipping.</p><p>Alongside the Plan, the Department published an assessment of the value of potential economic opportunities from low and zero emission shipping. Businesses that are registered for VAT will usually be able to reclaim the VAT they incur when they purchase these items for business purposes.</p><p> </p><p>Changing the rate of VAT on bee keeping equipment would come at a cost to the Exchequer. No non-disclosure agreements have been signed which relate to the drafting of Environment Bill legislation or amendments. Defra has asked two contractors to sign non-disclosure agreements as part of their contracts to undertake work in relation to long-term work on implementation of policies introduced by the Environment Bill. Both of those contractors who have been asked to sign non-disclosure agreements have done so. Surveys in 2018 and 2019 showed current grazing levels are impacting the special habitats. We continue to work closely with industry, the National Health Service and others in the supply chain to deliver the shared goal of continuity of safe patient care by mitigating any potential disruption to supply into the UK of medicines and medical products at the end of the transition period, in all scenarios.</p><p>As set out in a letter from the Department to industry of 3 August, we are implementing a multi-layered approach, that involves asking suppliers of medicines and medical products to the UK from or via the European Union to get trader ready, reroute their supply chains away from any potential disruption and stockpiling to a target level of six weeks on UK soil where this is possible.
