answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 06/03/2018 answer text <p>The Government has been working with the automotive sector to understand the challenges and opportunities that may arise in the coming months and years, and will continue to do so as the negotiations get underway.</p><p>The majority of safety standards applied to the automotive sector are agreed at an international level in the form of UNECE regulations and the UK will continue to accept products complying with these regulations after it exits the EU.</p><p>With regards to the EU27, under the Repeal Bill the Government will ensure that UK regulations and standards for motor vehicles are fully aligned with those in the EU on the day we leave the EU. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 06/03/2018 answer text <p>The UK strongly supports the important work being done by the UN Mission in South Sudan to protect civilians, monitor and investigate human rights violations, create conducive conditions for humanitarian access, and support the peace agreement. The UK works through the UN Security Council and the Fifth Committee of the General Assembly to ensure UN peacekeeping missions are well planned, resourced, and represent good value for money. The UK pays 5.78 per cent towards UN peacekeeping mission budgets through its UN assessed contributions and is the sixth largest contributor. Civil society organisations have an important role to play in South Sudan by holding the Government and others to account.</p><p>We will continue to support civil society peacebuilding initiatives. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 06/03/2018 answer text <p>The UK frequently engages South Sudan’s leaders at the highest level to make clear that both bureaucratic and physical obstacles to the delivery of lifesaving aid must cease immediately. As a direct result of lobbying, the South Sudanese Ministry of Labour announced on 27 February that it intends to reduce work permit fees for foreign workers by 50 per cent. We are awaiting confirmation that this has been implemented. It is a positive step, but it does not go far enough. Fees of $2,000 per person are still unacceptably high. This would also be the case for UK nationals travelling or working in the EU during this period, including accredited yachting instructors.</p><p><br>Royal Yachting Association certificates and qualifications apply to people working and sailing on British flagged boats. Royal Yachting Association (RYA) qualifications are not covered by the Mutual Recognition of Professional Qualifications (MRPQ) Directive. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 27/02/2018 answer text <p>The Government is proud of our high standards of food safety and these will not be watered down when we leave the EU. We will keep our existing UK legislation, and the EU Withdrawal Bill will convert EU law into UK law as it applies once we have left the EU.</p><p> </p><p>This means that origin labelling for foods will be required where the consumer would be misled if it were not given. In addition, the rules for compulsory origin labelling of beef, veal, lamb, mutton, pork, goat and poultry meat, fish and shellfish, honey, olive oil, wine and most fruit and vegetables will be in place. The majority of meat and dairy products sold at retail have transparent origin labelling provided voluntarily for the meat or dairy ingredients, and we continue to support the voluntary principles on country of origin labelling.</p><p> </p><p>Method of production labelling is not required for food although some producers provide it on a voluntary basis.
