answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 21/07/2014 answer text <p> </p><p>Flood alleviation works are progressing very well on the Somerset Levels, with many repairs and improvements expected to be completed before the coming winter.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Within the schedule of works it is planned to dredge 8km of the Rivers Parrett and Tone. So far 2.35km has been dredged, and this work is on schedule to be completed by the autumn.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The Environment Agency has nearly 50 asset repair projects underway in Somerset, repairing banks, pumping stations, sluices, gates and other mechanisms. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 21/07/2014 answer text <p> </p><p>There will always be a risk of major flooding on the Somerset Levels and elsewhere in the country, depending on how extreme the weather conditions are.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Significant funding has been provided to repair the flood assets damaged by the weather this winter, and a programme of repairs is underway.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The Environment Agency also has a number of measures in place to reduce the risks to the Somerset Levels, including improvements to the flood forecasting and warnings service in the area.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>As part of the response to the recent record levels of rainfall and extensive flooding of the Levels, a 20 year action plan was developed to reduce the risk of major flooding. Significant additional funding has been secured this year to implement this plan. The Environment Agency is leading on this research.</p><p> </p><p>The Environment Agency previously estimated that the 2012 flooding on the Somerset Levels and Moors cost around £7m, including impacts on property, agriculture and transport. No prosecutions have yet been brought under the new code and to date we assess the impact of the new code has been limited. However, a lack of clarity over implementation and intent has caused concern. We have urged the authorities in Brunei to consider the implementation of the new code carefully and ensure that it is in line with international human rights norms and Brunei’s international obligations. The Minister of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, my right hon. Friend the Member for East Devon (Mr Swire), raised our concerns with Second Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade, Pehin Lim, on 12 June and again with Brunei's High Commissioner to London on 14 July. The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at the Ministry of Justice, my hon. Friend the Member for North West Cambridgeshire (Mr Vara) also discussed the introduction of a sharia penal code with the Bruneian Attorney General at the Commonwealth Law Ministers' meeting on 6 May. The Secretary of State for Health, my right hon. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 21/07/2014 answer text <p>Indonesia has a strong tradition of religious diversity and tolerance but there has been a rise in recent years of localised instances of inter- and intra-religious conflict, and examples where the rights of religious minority groups have not been protected. We remain concerned that some local bylaws abrogate the rights of women and religious minority groups.</p><p>We continue to monitor the situation and raise our concerns with the Government of Indonesia. I have convened meetings of international leaders, including with the Foreign Minister of Indonesia, to generate practical steps to promote freedom of religion or belief, and to fight religious intolerance within our societies.</p><p>Our Ambassador in Jakarta has discussed these issues with the Minister of Religious Affairs, the Coordinating Minister for Politics, Law &amp; Security, Indonesian civil society, and religious leaders. We have supported projects to improve respect for freedom of religion or belief. There is no data available on the exact contribution of Polish immigrants to UK GDP since 2010 - it is extremely complex to isolate the contribution of just one group of people to GDP, given the wide variety of economic activity that they will be involved in.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>However, many economists believe that Polish migrants have had a positive impact on the UK economy since 2004 as they tend to be of working age when they arrive and contribute more to the economy through taxes and consumption than they take out via public services.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>By broad industry definitions, Polish nationals work across all industries but are most often found in Manufacturing and Distribution, Hotels and Restaurants. By standard occupation definitions, Polish nationals are found in all occupational areas but are most often in skilled trades, process, plant and machine operative occupations and elementary occupations.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) found that the primary driver for determining an individual's fiscal contribution is whether they are in employment.
