answer text <p>As part of the Department’s ‘no deal’ European Union exit medicines supply contingency planning, a tender process to procure additional warehouse space to store stockpiled medicines within the mainland United Kingdom, including ambient, refrigerated and controlled drug storage, was undertaken in October 2018.</p><p> </p><p>Contract agreements for additional storage capacity have now been signed with three companies. There are no outstanding contracts still to be signed.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The Department does not hold the data requested.</p><p> </p><p>The Government will support the National Health Service to ensure that the right staff, with the right skills and experience, are available to deliver the high-quality care the public expects. This includes building on the work already underway to recruit, train and retain more staff to address shortages. answer text <p>Contract agreements for storage have recently been signed or will be signed imminently. We have agreed funding on the condition that the additional medicine warehousing capacity is in place in time to accommodate stockpiled medicines by the beginning of February 2019.</p><p> </p><p>Those warehouses are all in existence and have planning permission. It is for those contractors to determine the best means of ensuring that the warehouses are adequately staffed in line with their normal business practices.</p> more like this
