The Withdrawal Agreement provides the simplest, most efficient mechanism to achieve the continuity in our current trade arrangements with third party countries. If concluded, the EU will notify third countries that the UK is to be treated as a Member State for the purposes of international agreements during the Implementation Period. In the absence of any further action, the EEA Agreement will no longer operate in respect of the UK when we leave the EU. We do not consider, therefore, that providing written notice to the other Contracting Parties under Article 127 of the EEA Agreement is necessary.</p><p>We agreed with the EU at March European Council that they will notify third parties that the UK will be treated as a Member State for the purposes of international agreements during the implementation period. The cost of the staff employed by this team to support PCSE was £1.69 million.</p><p>NHS England has a dedicated team who oversee the delivery of primary care support services and performance manage PCSE. The cost of the staff employed by this team between 1 September 2015 and 31 January 2018 was £3.42 million.
