answer text <p>Allocated BDUK Funding for the Superfast roll-out programme in the devolved areas can be found on the attached spreadsheet.</p><p> </p><p>BDUK also has other funding available through its LFFN programme’s Challenge Fund and Gigabit Broadband Voucher Scheme. Neither of these are centrally allocated funding - applications are made by local bodies to the Challenge Fund, and the GBVS is available to any eligible beneficiary who wishes to request a voucher.</p> more like this

In 2014, the Smith Commission considered in great depth what new powers should be devolved to the Scottish Parliament, and the report was agreed by all five of Scotland’s main political parties. The Scotland Act 2016 delivers on the Smith Commission Agreement in full, and we are committed to implementing the Act. The devolution settlement strikes the right balance and now is not the time to reopen this issue.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The Government does not collect data on whether local authority housing sold, acquired or built is detached, semi-detached, terraced or flats.</p><p>Beginning with Q1 2017-18, local authorities were asked to split the numbers provided between new build starts and acquisitions. Figures distinguishing new-build from acquisitions were not required prior to this.</p><p>Out of a total of 4,668 dwellings reported to have been started on site or acquired since Q1 2017-18, 56 per cent (2,515 dwellings) were starts on site for new builds and 44 per cent (1,953 dwellings) were acquisitions</p><p>On 14 August, alongside the Social Housing Green Paper, the Government published a consultation paper on options for providing greater flexibility for local authorities in how they use their receipts from sales under the Right to Buy. The consultation closes on 9 October and we welcome responses from local authorities and other stakeholders.
