answer text <p>Washing machines placed on the market on or after the 8 December 2016 must comply with the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 and before that date with the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 1994. As these regulations require manufacturers to ensure that washing machines they place on the market are safe, this means any filter used in the product must also be safe. There are no plans to review these requirements.</p><p> </p><p>Manufacturers can create a presumption of compliance with the legislation by conforming to relevant Harmonised European safety standards.</p><p> </p><p>The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs is responsible for environmental protection policy.</p> more like this

answer text <p>We are reviewing the regulation of air weapons in England and Wales, and we have asked for the views of interested parties by 6 February 2018.</p><p>The review is looking at issues such as manufacturing standards, secure storage and whether current arrangements are sufficient to prevent children gaining access to air weapons. We will also take account of the arrangements in Scotland and Northern Ireland where air weapons are subject to a licensing regime. answer text <p>There have been no alterations to the design of HMS Prince of Wales, she is being built to plan.</p><p>The Strategic Defence and Security Review 2015 allocated £60 million to further optimise a Queen Elizabeth Class carrier to better meet the demands of the Landing Platform Helicopter role. This includes Communications Systems for amphibious operations, improving the domestic services in the aircraft carrier for Royal Marines, providing ammunition storage, increasing the number of helicopter operating spots and expanding the operating capacity for helicopters.</p> more like this
