answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 12/09/2017 answer text <p>Numbers of units of e-cigarettes, vaping products and tobacco items sold in prisons in England and Wales in each month for the last year are as set out in the attached annex.</p><p>Prisons are rolling out the smoke free policy, subject to a series of assessments which will test the operational stability, readiness and health readiness of the prisons to implement the policy in a safe, decent and secure way. Contracts with CRCs require each CRC to ensure that it employs a sufficient level of staff, and that its workforce is competent and adequately trained. Services are commissioned for individual prisons by NHS England’s local commissioners, based on a local health needs assessment which informs the provision required.</p><p> </p><p>In the case of the primary and secondary healthcare commissioned services, there are national specifications to which patient specific services can be added.
