answer text <p>Implementation of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive 2010/31/EU is led by my rt. hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, though of course BEIS has a key role in supporting this.</p><p>Article 10 of the EPBD requires Member States to consider the most relevant finance and other instruments to catalyse the energy performance of buildings in the light of national circumstances, and to inform the Commission of these measures. As allowed for by the Directive, the UK has set out its list of measures in the Energy Efficiency Action Plans submitted to the Commission, most recently in 2017.
