answer text <p>Ministry of Defence records are subject to the provisions of the Public Records Act 1958 (PRA) and there are no plans to change this policy.</p><p>In the last 30 years the rules have been changed to accord with relevant amendments to the PRA, such as the reduction of the retention period from 30 years to 20 years under the Constitutional Reform and Governance Act 2010.</p><p>Military service records are exempt from this policy on Data Protection Grounds. Service records are retained for a minimum of 100 years following an individual's date of birth.</p> more like this

answer text <p>When claiming Jobseeker’s Allowance a person is only asked about their last job if it ended in the last 6 months. The data about their last job, if they had one, is recorded but could only be provided at disproportionate cost.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>From April 2014 Individuals have also been asked by their Work Coach if they were formerly in HM Forces to ensure they are offered the most appropriate support. A marker recording their response is placed on their labour market account. The data available is not sufficiently robust to be published and will only provide a partial picture, as it is voluntarily provided information.</p> more like this

answer text <p>Commercial dog breeders already require a licence from their local authority in order to operate. The Government has reviewed these controls and has proposed that all licensed dog breeders comply with up to date animal welfare standards. We have also proposed to lower the threshold by which dog breeders will need a licence to three litters a year. Anyone breaching animal welfare standards risks having their licence revoked.</p><p> </p> more like this
