answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 14/11/2016 answer text <p>The Government continues to view adult social care as a key priority, and is giving local authorities access to up to £3.5 billion additional funding for adult social care by 2019/20.</p><p> </p><p>Data published by the Department for Communities and Local Government on 15 July 2015 shows that in 2015-16, local authorities budgeted to spend £14.081 billion on adult social care[1]. Provisional outturn data published by the Department for Communities and Local Government on 25 August 2016 shows local authorities spent £14.394 billion on adult social care in 2015-16[2]. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 16/11/2016 answer text <p>Annual Figures on the number of claims for asylum from Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children (UASC), including by country of nationality, are published quarterly by the Home Office in the Immigration Statistics release.</p><p>A copy of the latest release, Immigration Statistics April to June 2016, is available from:</p><p><a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics/immigration-stat" target="_blank">https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics/immigration-stat</a></p><p>A regional breakdown is not available and could only be provided at disproportionate cost. The Government is committed to ensuring that there is a more equitable distribution of UASC across the country and that no one authority has to care for more UASC than they are able to.</p><p>That is why we introduced the voluntary National Transfer Scheme and have consulted with every region in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland on their capacity. Under the regulatory framework companies are expected to demonstrate effective engagement with stakeholders on their activities, including, where relevant, local authorities and mayors. This applies to agreeing funding with Ofgem for the current 8-year price controls and on an annual basis thereafter. In addition, for larger infrastructure projects network companies have to provide evidence of engagement with stakeholders, and how any concerns have been addressed, to Ofgem as part of the funding approval process. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 28/10/2016 answer text <p>The Government is committed to ensuring that patients have access to effective new drugs where they represent value to the taxpayer.</p><p>The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) is the independent body that provides authoritative, evidence based guidance for the National Health Service on whether significant new medicines represent an effective use of NHS resources. The 2014 Pharmaceutical Price Regulation Scheme enables companies to offer patient access schemes to improve the value proposition of drugs undergoing assessment by NICE, such as through a discount on the list price. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 24/10/2016 answer text <p>The Chancellor’s statement of 3 October 2016 set out guarantees for local authorities’ funding for cross-border, transnational and inter-regional cooperation projects subject to certain conditions. The Treasury will guarantee funding for those projects which are signed after the Autumn Statement, but before the UK leaves the EU, provided that they provide strong value for money and are in line with domestic strategic priorities. This guarantee will apply even where those projects continue after the UK has left the EU. The Chancellor’s statement has provided certainty for local authorities and other UK participants in European Territorial Cooperation programmes.</p><p>Leaving the EU means that we can decide how to deliver the policy priorities currently delivered by EU funding programmes.
