This information allows us to estimate the number of children's centres providing full day care provision on site. Estimates from the 2013 Childcare and Early Years Providers survey show that in 2010 the number of children's centres providing on-site full day care was 800 and that in 2013 this figure was 450. Results of the 2013 survey suggest that increases in the broader supply of full day care provision may have impacted on demand for provision specifically based in children's centres. The survey estimates that between 2010 and 2013 the number of full day care providers increased from 16,700 to 17,900.</p><p>[1] Figures for 2010 begin from April 2010. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 15/12/2016 answer text <p>Since the start of Universal Credit the Real Time Information (RTI) system has been helping to ensure that we get Universal Credit claims right by providing us with accurate and timely details of earnings payments from Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs.</p><p> </p><p>The system is working well with over 99% of individual employment records now being reported in real time. The Department for Work and Pensions is leading work across Government to bring forward a social justice green paper in the New Year which will identify and address the root causes of poverty, building upon the two statutory indicators set out in the Welfare Reform and Work Act 2016.</p><p> </p><p>The Child Poverty Unit’s main function was to support Ministers in exercising their duties in relation to the income-related targets set out in the Child Poverty Act 2010 and the associated child poverty strategy. Following the repeal of those targets, responsibility for child poverty policy and analysis transferred to the Department for Work and Pensions. For the financial year 2016/17 the Department provided £300 000 of funding to support the EIF’s work to build on and disseminate the evidence base on the effectiveness of early years intervention. The Department contributed £1.5m to the contract covering the financial years 2013/14 to 2015/16.
