answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 15/12/2015 answer text <p>From 1 August 2017, new nursing, midwifery and allied health students will no longer receive NHS bursaries. Instead, they will have access to the same student loans system as other students.</p><br /><p>We intend that students studying nursing, midwifery and the allied health subjects as a second degree will also be able to get student loans.</p><br /><p>The change will only affect new students commencing their courses from 1 August 2017.</p><p>We plan to run a consultation in early 2016 to ask how we can successfully deliver the reforms.</p><br /><p>Under the loans system, students on nursing, midwifery and allied health courses will receive around a 25% increase in the financial support available to them for living costs. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 14/12/2015 answer text <br /><p>The Ministry of Defence is absolutely committed to looking after the mental health of our Armed Forces personnel, and through the Defence budget we fund a range of military medical staff and facilities to provide community-based healthcare in line with national best practice. This includes the ability to deploy medical staff on major operations such as those in Iraq and Afghanistan. In the UK, we have 16 permanent military Departments of Community Mental Health, which are located to be convenient for major centres of military population, and which support the provision of healthcare that is available through GPs in Service primary care facilities.
