answer text <p>The implementation of the provisions for civil enforcement of mandatory cycle lanes in Part 6 of the Traffic Management Act 2004 would result in the installation by local authorities of camera-based systems to identify contraventions by motorists. Such changes would not be introduced without first consulting with motorists, cyclists and local authorities to establish the merits, or otherwise, of increasing camera-based enforcement. Those powers will not be implemented in this Parliament.</p> more like this

answer text <p>At the end of December 2014, local authorities had identified 117,910 troubled families; all of whom were, or had been, engaged in the programme.</p><p> </p><p>As of the end of February 2015, local authorities had reported that 105,671 families had been ‘turned around’ and 10,508 of these families included a family member who had moved off out of work benefits and into work for a period of at least 13 weeks.</p><p> </p><p>My Department regularly publishes this information online.
