answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 05/11/2014 answer text <p>We do not have systematic evidence of increasing waiting times across the different ‘tiers’ of child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS). Anecdotal evidence for increasing waiting times we are aware of does not link to specific geographical areas or providers.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The Charity YoungMinds and the <em>CAMHS Benchmarking Report</em> by the NHS Benchmarking Network have both reported increased waiting times for services.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>YoungMinds state that lack of access to services and long waiting lists are common issues raised through the YoungMinds Parent’s helpline.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The <em>Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) Tier 4 </em>Report identifies a long waiting time for beds in some areas, and as a result NHS England is investing £7 million this financial year to provide up to 50 additional beds in the areas with greatest need.</p><p> </p><p><strong> </strong></p><p> </p><p>We are keen to ensure that children and young people are able to access mental health services as and when they need them. The Children and Adolescent Mental Health Wellbeing Taskforce is focusing on a number of issues which need to be addressed in child and adolescent mental health, including the current complexity faced by children and young people and their parents and carers in understanding and accessing child and adolescent mental health services.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>In October we published a 5 Year Plan <em>Achieving Better Access to Mental Health Services by 2020</em> which sets out the case for comprehensive access and waiting time standards in mental health for people of all ages. It announces the introduction of standard waiting times for Early Intervention in Psychosis services which will be of benefit to young people, and for the adult Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) programme. All court staff who interact with vulnerable and intimidated witnesses are provided with the relevant training via e-learning and face to face training to help support them in this role. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 04/11/2014 answer text <p>Violence of any kind in prison is not tolerated and all assaults are treated extremely seriously. The reason behind a violent incident is not routinely recorded and therefore we do not have an estimate of the number of violent incidents that might be attributable to the use of legal highs. The National Offender Management Service is taking appropriate steps to tackle violence and after conducting a comprehensive review will be issuing further guidance early next year. Data is available from the system from 2011 only as the functionality to record placement orders went fully live in that year. Data from 2011 to September 2014 is provided in the table below. Data from 2010-11 could only be provided at disproportionate cost due to the need to manually check local case files. The Family Court case management system does not hold information on placement order appeals. It records any appeal applications made within a case but not what the appeal was against or whether it was upheld or rejected. We could only say how many appeals were made against placement orders by manually checking each case file in which a placement order was made to see if it had been appealed and check the outcome. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 04/11/2014 answer text <p /> <p> </p><p>Both Employment and Support Allowance (ESA) and Personal Independence Payment (PIP) have been designed to take full account of progressive conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson’s.</p><p> </p><p>Entitlement to both ESA and PIP is based on the impact of the claimant’s disability or health conditions.
