<p>The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) has published cancer
service guidance which outlines how healthcare services for people with skin tumours,
including melanoma, should be organised. In May 2010 NICE issued a partial update
to the guidance, including new recommendations on the management of low-risk basal
cell carcinomas in the community.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>NICE is currently
developing a clinical guideline on the assessment and management of melanoma, which
is currently planned for publication in July 2015.</p><p> </p><p>Further details of
