The majority of parishes have also offered some form of online worship live-streaming or bespoke recordings of worship and prayers</p><p><br> One specific advantage of online services has been the ability to broadcast weddings and funerals online. A 2020 survey by the National Churches Trust found that 78% of Church of England churches were involved in supporting or operating food banks. By the end of 2020, £56 million had been committed to areas of low economic activity through 77 projects. Of the 93 local authorities categorised by the Government as priority 1 for levelling-up, 48 contain projects receiving such funding. This is across 20 dioceses and focuses on younger generations and deprived communities in urban and rural contexts. Investment is central to this vision and the UK has some of the world’s deepest and most liquid equity markets, attracting the best companies from around the globe and connecting them with investors.</p><p> </p><p>The Takeover Code, written and enforced by the Takeover Panel, ensures investors are given an appropriate degree of protection when there is a takeover of a company. It ensures that investors are treated equally, given appropriate information, and have time to consider the offer.</p><p> </p><p>Further to this, in the recently published Audit Reform white paper, the Government set out its ambitious plans to strengthen the UK’s audit, company reporting and corporate governance framework. The reforms will ensure that the UK’s most significant corporate entities are regulated responsibly and will empower investors by giving them access to reliable and meaningful information on company performance. Under the proposals, a reformed statutory regulator will be given new investigation and enforcement powers in relation to wrongdoing by directors. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 23/06/2021 answer text <p>We have already made significant progress in prioritising cases with acute vulnerability and those in receipt of the greatest level of support, including Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children. Additionally, we are prioritising older cases and cases where an individual has already received a decision, but a reconsideration is required.</p><p>The Home Office is pursuing a programme of transformation and business improvement initiatives which will speed up decision making, reduce the time people spend in the system and reduce the numbers who are awaiting an interview or decision.</p><p>This includes an uplift in decision making capacity and providing improved training and career progression opportunities to aid retention of staff. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 23/06/2021 answer text <p>The Home Office has been working with asylum accommodation providers, Local Authorities and Strategic Migration Partnerships to increase the amount of accommodation that is available for asylum seekers so that we can eliminate the need for the use of contingency accommodation.</p><p>We are grateful to those local authorities who participate in the dispersal scheme and will continue to work in partnership with them to procure suitable accommodation.</p><p>Sadly, many local authorities do not currently participate in the dispersal scheme, making it harder to procure sufficient dispersal accommodation. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 22/06/2021 answer text <p>The Ministry of Defence (MOD) does not tolerate extremism of any kind and it is not compatible with the values and standards of our Armed Forces. Where such behaviour is believed to be occurring, early action is taken to confront and challenge this, including ensuring that referrals are made to the appropriate authorities.</p><p>Service personnel referred for suspected extremism are supported through the process, which can result in dismissal, with appropriate advice, guidance, and counselling as required and requested. In addition, the usual welfare mechanisms and pastoral support remain open to the individual through their local Chain of Command and via organisations such as SSAFA, the Armed Forces Charity. Membership of proscribed organisations and extremist behaviour is not tolerated and those who have been convicted of offences are unlikely to continue to serve.</p><p>The MOD adheres to the Home Office Prevent programme.
