answer text <p>We have been at the forefront of international efforts to reach a political settlement to the conflict in Yemen. The UK has used its role as penholder at the UN Security Council to help push the Yemen peace process forward. In September 2019, the UK co-hosted a political event at the UN General Assembly where UN Special Envoy Martin Griffiths briefed his plan to begin political consultations. We welcome the Saudi-brokered Riyadh Agreement and the de-escalation we have seen in the border area in recent months. We are concerned about recent heavy clashes in the Nehm region and fully support the UN Special Envoy’s statement of 22 January calling on the parties to adhere to their commitments and avoid further escalation.​</p> more like this

answer text <p>We announced an additional £1.3 billion of investment in schools and high needs on 17th July, and confirmed the introduction of the national funding formula from 2018-19. Over the next two years, the core schools budget will be maintained in real terms per pupil.</p><p>The additional investment will allow us, through the national funding formula, to continue to protect funding for pupils with additional needs, as we proposed in December.</p><p>The details of the formula will be set out in September when we respond in full to the consultation.</p> more like this

answer text <p>Prevent works in partnership with numerous organisations who are instrumental in preventing people being drawn into terrorism. Since 2011 we have supported over 180 community-based Prevent projects. Last year we supported over 70 community projects which worked with nearly 40,000 people. We do not provide a breakdown of spend by organisations, as this may impact on our effectiveness to serve the best interests of the public.</p> more like this
