Government is firmly committed to the safety and security of all of those in public life.</p><p>The Government updated the House on action being taken to tackle intimidation in public life in a recent <a href="https://questions-statements.parliament.uk/written-statements/detail/2021-03-09/hcws833" target="_blank">WMS (UIN HCWS833)</a>. This includes introducing a new electoral sanction of intimidation against those who participate in elections. This year, the Seasonal Workers Pilot has been expanded for 2021 to 30,000 visas. Growers can also recruit workers with status under the EU Settlement Scheme. We are concerned by the lack of clarity on Taliban's policy on secondary education for girls and continue to press them to ensure the full and equal access to education for all. We will continue to work with the international community to use our influence to secure women's and girls' rights to access education and jobs and to participate in public life.
