answer text <p>The number and proportion of women who participated in Rise and Elevate schemes since their launch in 2021 are as follows:</p><p> </p><p>Rise</p><p>In 2021, 15 women (approximately 65% of scheme participants) took part in the first cohort of the Rise scheme. One subsequently left the Ministry of Defence (MOD).</p><p> </p><p>In 2022, 35 women (approximately 73% of scheme participants) took part in the second cohort of the Rise scheme. One subsequently left the MOD.</p><p> </p><p>Elevate</p><p>The Elevate scheme lasts for two years so the same cohort participated in both 2021 and 2022. 13 women (approximately 43% of scheme participants) took part and none have left the MOD.</p><p> </p><p>Of those participating in Rise and Elevate during 2021 and 2022, five have left the MOD: three from Rise and two from Elevate out of 101 total participants. answer text <p>DExEU has organised over 700 recorded engagements with business and civil society stakeholders from every sector of the British economy since July 2016 and to date DExEU Ministers have attended over 120 roundtable meetings on a wide range of topics. The Department continues to engage with businesses as we approach exit day on 31 January.</p><p>Additionally, the UK will continue to participate in programmes funded under the current 2014-2020 Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) until their closure. This means that the vast majority of programmes will continue to receive EU funding across the programme’s lifetime. In many cases, funding will continue until after 2020 and the end of the Implementation Period.</p><p>Government will continue to hold regular forums with intermediaries, trade associations and business organisations to support them through the transition period.</p> more like this

Local authorities have a statutory duty to provide free home to school transport for all eligible children. In addition, they have the powers under the Concessionary Bus Travel Act to provide further local concessions.</p><p>The Government recognises the importance of ensuring young people are able to travel on public transport to and from places of education and keeps policies such as this under regular review.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The number of offenders serving a mandatory life sentence for murder who have been released on life licence by the independent Parole Board in each year since 2007 are published in the Offender Management Statistics Annual Releases Tables. The life licence may be revoked and the offender returned to prison, should it be deemed appropriate, in response to an increase in risk posed to the public.</p>
