The Government takes seriously the harms relating to psychoactive substances such as nitrous oxide and it will continue to keep this issue under review and to consider any new or emerging evidence.</p><p>The supply of substances for their psychoactive effect is an offence. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 29/04/2021 answer text <p>In line with the Citizens’ Rights Agreements, the Government has made clear where a person eligible for status under the EU Settlement Scheme has reasonable grounds for missing the 30 June 2021 deadline for applications by those resident in the UK by the end of the transition period, they will be given a further opportunity to apply.</p><p> </p><p>Non-exhaustive guidance on what constitutes reasonable grounds for missing the deadline can be found at pages 26 to 44 of the caseworker guidance, EU Settlement Scheme: EU, other EEA and Swiss citizens and their family members, which is available here:</p><p> </p><p><a href="http://www.gov.uk/government/publications/eu-settlement-scheme-caseworker-guidance" target="_blank">www.gov.uk/government/publications/eu-settlement-scheme-caseworker-guidance</a>.</p><p> </p><p>This includes where there are compelling practical or compassionate reasons why a person may have been unaware of the requirement to apply to the scheme by the deadline or may have failed to do so, or where a person with a residence document issued under the EEA Regulations was not aware they needed to apply to the scheme.</p><p>The guidance will be kept under ongoing review and updated as appropriate.
