Prime Minister Johnson called Prime Minister Kadhimi later that day. He made clear that the UK stands by the Iraqi people and supports Prime Minister Kadhimi's call for calm and restraint. We encourage all teenage girls to have the vaccine when offered it. The vaccine programme, together with cervical screening, have the potential to reduce cervical cancer to the point where almost no women develop it.
