The Department closely monitors all aspects of the process including the performance of the assessment providers, Atos Healthcare and Capita.</p><p>From 1<sup>st</sup> July 2016, we implemented an independent audit of PIP throughout Great Britain. But it is not the private property of the monarch - it cannot be sold by the monarch, nor do revenues from it belong to the monarch. The revenue surplus from the Estate is paid to the Consolidated fund.
