answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 22/01/2024 answer text <p>Defra does not hold information on the number of dog attacks on cats. Any information on the number of reported dog-on-cat attacks will be held by individual local authorities and individual police forces.</p><p> </p><p>It is an offence under section 3(1) of the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 to allow a dog to be dangerously out of control.</p><p> </p><p>We are currently working in partnership with the police, local authorities and animal welfare organisations to ensure that the full range of existing dog control powers are effectively applied to encourage responsible dog ownership and reduce the risk of dog attacks.</p> answering member constituency Sherwood answering member printed Mark Spencer question first answered 22/01/2024 16:33:25 answering member 4055 label Biography information for Sir Mark Spencer

Of this, £500m will be invested in the Cardiff City Deal over a 20 year period and £115.6m will be invested in the Swansea City Deal over a 15 year period. The government remains committed to agreeing a North Wales Growth Deal.
