answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 07/01/2019 answer text <p>The Social Housing Green Paper asked if new safety measures in the private rented sector, such as requirements to install carbon monoxide alarms, should be extended to social housing. Alongside this, the Government is carrying out a review to establish whether requirements to install carbon monoxide (CO) alarms in private rented properties should be extended to any fuel burning appliance and social housing. The findings of this review are being considered alongside responses to the Social Housing Green Paper. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 16/07/2014 answer text <p>Scotland's economy has performed well within the UK and the Scottish housing market is recovering alongside the rest of the UK's housing market. As in previous recoveries house prices have risen but still remain below their pre-crisis peak in real terms in Scotland. As a result of increased confidence in the housing market, property transactions in Scotland were 21 per cent higher in 2013 than the lows seen in 2011.
