answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 26/07/2018 answer text <p>The Government’s statutory Cycling and Walking Investment Strategy (CWIS), published in April 2017, sets out a number of actions to increase the level of cycling, alongside £1.2 billion of funding that may be invested in cycling and walking in England over the period to 2021.</p><p> </p><p>Since the publication of the Strategy, the Department has identified additional funding for cycling and walking schemes, including around £77 million of support for schemes via the National Productivity Investment Fund. The Government also announced a new £1.7 billion Transforming Cities Fund in the Autumn Budget which will allow a number of cities to support projects aimed at improving local connectivity by boosting cycling and walking. The Department has commenced a major programme of technical support to help 44 local authorities in England develop their Local Cycling and Walking Infrastructure Plans (LCWIPs).</p><p> </p><p>The Government launched a call for evidence on how to improve safety for cycling and walking in March 2018 as part of the CWIS Safety Review. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 27/07/2018 answer text <p>In those areas where decent broadband is not available, we are introducing a broadband Universal Service Obligation so that by 2020 everyone across the UK will have a clear, enforceable right to request high speed broadband of at least 10 Megabits per second. We will keep the speed and quality parameters under review to make sure that it keeps pace with consumers' evolving needs.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>In addition, the Government’s ambition is for full fibre to 15 million premises by 2025 and nationwide coverage by 2033. On 23 July, the Government published its Future Telecoms Infrastructure Review, setting out approach to achieving our targets by promoting competition and commercial investment.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The Government is also investing in full fibre connectivity through our £280 million Local Full Fibre Networks programme. The National Curriculum for music aims to ensure that all pupils have the opportunity to learn a musical instrument. To support that, between 2016-2020 we are spending £300 million on a network of music education hubs. The hubs ensure that every child aged 5-18 has the opportunity to learn a musical instrument; provide opportunities to play in ensembles; ensure that clear progression routes are available and affordable for all; and ensure that every pupil has the opportunity to sing regularly. It shows there were nearly 117,000 new built additional dwelling for social rent between 2010-11 and 2016-17.</p><p>The Department also publishes an annual release entitled ‘Housing supply: net additional dwellings, England’, which is the primary and most comprehensive measure of housing supply. That is why we have assembled an expert panel to diagnose the issues that currently affect the health of our high streets and advise on the best practical measures to help them thrive now and in the future.</p><p>Later this summer the Department, in conjunction with the expert panel, we will put out a call for evidence seeking what members of the public and young people in particular want from the high streets of the future.
