answer text <p>The UK fully supports UN-led efforts, as made clear in UNSCR 2548, to reach a just, lasting and mutually acceptable political solution, based on compromise, that provides for the self-determination of the people of Western Sahara consistent with the principles and purposes of the Charter of the United Nations. We strongly support the UN Secretary-General's efforts to appoint a Personal Envoy at the earliest opportunity so that consultations between the parties can resume.</p> more like this
