<p>The Cabinet Office-run Summer Resilience Network provides a mechanism for understanding and coordinating the preparations put in place nationally for the summer period, by departments and other bodies, and provides a valuable forum to raise issues of concern. The network meets every two weeks between June and September, unless required to meet more frequently. Officials from the Department of Health and the Department for Transport attend this network.</p><p> </p>
