answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 15/10/2015 answer text <p>This Government has an ambitious vision for disabled people, which is set out in our cross-government disability strategy: Fulfilling Potential which we published in 2013.</p><p>Fulfilling Potential aims to remove the barriers that disabled people face to enable them to fulfil their potential, live independently and have equal opportunities to play a full and active role in society.</p><p>We developed our approach with disabled people and it reflects what they have said is important to bring about the changes that will have a real and lasting impact on their day-to-day lives.</p><p>As part of our approach we are committed to continuing to provide support for those disabled people who need it, whilst enabling those who can work to do so. We continue to spend around £50 billion on services and benefits for disabled people. We have not issued any explicit guidance on the teaching of these qualifications and we do not directly monitor their availability in schools. <br> <br> From September 2015 a new mathematics GCSE will be taught in schools which will be more challenging, ambitious and rigorous, and will ensure that children have the mathematical skills vital to continue in higher education, training and employment. For the most able students, it will provide greater stretch while better preparing them to move on to A levels in mathematics and further mathematics.<br> <br> Final decisions about whether to offer additional mathematics qualifications for the most able students following the introduction of the new GCSE rest with schools. Funding is also available under the NHS voucher scheme for the provision of spectacles with a prescription power to correct a defect of sight.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Clinical commissioning groups are responsible for commissioning services to meet the needs of their local population. This could include services over and above the NHS sight test, such as behavioural optometry. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 22/10/2014 answer text <p>UK borrowers taking out a business loan secured on their home have a number of protections available to them.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has responsibility for the regulation of mortgages secured by a first charge against a borrower’s home, regardless of the purpose of that loan. These regulations include consumer protections to ensure that repossession is only used as a last resort.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Where borrowers are taking out a second charge loan of £25,000 or less for a business purpose they are also protected under the FCA’s regulatory regime for consumer credit. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 20/10/2014 answer text <p>The Government has put a number of protections in place to limit repossessions.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>It established the independent Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and gave them the responsibility to put in place robust protections to ensure fair treatment of borrowers facing payment difficulties. The Department for Work and Pensions also provides help for pensioners and those out of work to meet their mortgage payments through Support for Mortgage Interest. In addition, all borrowers can seek protection in the Courts using the Mortgage Pre-Action Protocol, which makes it clear that repossession must always be the last resort for lenders.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>However, a well-functioning mortgage market will always need to keep the possibility of repossession open as a last resort.
