Data on the refusals of student visas are published in table ‘Vis_D02’ of the <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/statistical-data-sets/managed-migration-datasets#entry-clearance-visas-granted-outside-the-uk" target="_blank">detailed entry clearance visas dataset</a>. Information on how to use the dataset can be found in the ‘Notes’ page of the workbook. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 11/05/2023 answer text <p>To access the Student route, international students must demonstrate in their application they meet the requirements of the route, including their ability to financially support themselves throughout their stay in the UK, unless differentiation arrangements apply.</p><p> </p><p>The addition or removal of countries and competent authorities to the list of differentiated nationals is based on objective data. We keep the list of differentiated nationals under review, adding and removing countries and competent authorities from this list.</p><p>An Impact Assessment was prepared to accompany the launch of the Student route. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 16/01/2023 answer text <p>Graduates must have successfully completed a degree, or other eligible qualification, at undergraduate level or above whilst sponsored by a higher education provider (HEP) with a track record of compliance. They must be in the UK at the time of their application and have existing valid permission as a student. Student permission already includes post study period of up to 4 months from end date of course. The length of the post study period is determined by the duration and level of study.</p><p>These requirements determine the window of opportunity for making a successful Graduate application. The Graduate route provides an opportunity for international students who have been awarded their degree to stay in the UK and work, or look for work, at any skill level for 2 years, or 3 years for doctoral students, therefore only those with valid Student permission who are in the UK at the time of application are eligible.
