answer text
We are appalled by reports that hospitals in north west Syria have been hit by Russian and regime airstrikes. The UN estimate that 20 health facilities, at least 9 of which are hospitals, have been affected by recent hostilities. It is inexcusable that hospitals have been attacked despite their coordinates being provided to Russia and others by the UN deconfliction mechanism. We urgently call on the Syrian regime, Russia and all other actors to abide by international law and respect the ceasefire agreed last year and the deconfliction mechanism.
more like this

answer text
We are gravely concerned by the offensive launched by the Syrian regime and Russia in Idlib. We made this clear at an emergency session of the UN Security Council and warned that a full-scale offensive would risk a humanitarian catastrophe. We with the US, France and eight other countries issued a joint statement on 10 May and we released a further statement with France and Germany on 13 May. We will continue to call out the regime and its backers for their actions and to press all sides to return to the ceasefire agreed last September at Sochi.
more like this

answer text
Since military operations began, the Global Coalition against Daesh and its partners in Syria and Iraq have recaptured the vast majority of Daesh territory. Important advances continue to be made in the last small Daesh pocket in eastern Syria. As the United States recognises, it is important that the withdrawal of US forces from Syria takes place in a way which allows this significant progress to be maintained. However, much remains to be done in the global campaign against Daesh. Daesh will remain a threat, whether they hold territory or not. We have already seen indications over the past year in Iraq and Syria of Daesh transitioning to a clandestine network. We remain committed to the Global Coalition and its objective of ensuring Daesh's enduring defeat.
more like this

We called for de-escalation and the protection of civilians, while recognising Turkey's legitimate interest in the security of its borders. All actors in the Syrian conflict must comply with and fully uphold international conventions and norms.
