answer text <p>Ministers and officials have engaged extensively on EU exit with businesses, business groups and trade bodies across all regions of the UK. My rt. hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy has been meeting regularly with five of the biggest business groups, including the Federation for Small Business. We want to achieve the best possible outcome and the strongest possible partnership - one that works for UK businesses. We plan to be ambitious in these negotiations and will secure the best possible access for firms to trade with and operate in the European market.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The Export Hub is invited to locations across the UK, and has so far visited 23<ins class="ministerial">1</ins><del class="ministerial">5</del> sites. Any Member of Parliament is able to request for the Export Hub to visit their constituency.</p><p>The logistics for managing the Export Hub is contracted through an external company.</p><p>Many cross-party MPs have spoken highly of the work of the Export Hub at the Department for International Trade’s (DIT) Monthly MPs Briefings which the DIT Ministerial team hosts.</p> more like this

answer text <p>Although the changes business will face are subject to negotiations with our EU partners, we are committed to minimising disruption and giving as much certainty as possible. That’s why the Government is pursuing a time-limited implementation period to allow business the time they need to adapt to new arrangements.</p><p> </p><p>Government will be working alongside trade associations and others to communicate to businesses the changes in the UKs trading relationship with the EU, ensuring that they are ready for day one of exit regardless of the outcome of the negotiations.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The Government recognises that a strong relationship with business and industry is absolutely vital in ensuring the best possible deal for the UK. The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy therefore regularly engages with a number of businesses organisations on issues including the UKs exit from the EU.</p><p> </p><p>The Withdrawal Bill was introduced in July 2017, designed to ensure that the UK exits the EU in a smooth and orderly way. In line with this, the Government is also pursuing a time-limited implementation period to allow small businesses the time they need to adapt to new arrangements, and more generally pushing to ensure the best possible deal for UK citizens and businesses.</p><p> </p><p>In the highly unlikely event of a no deal, the Government is making plans to ensure that the UK has made all the relevant preparations in advance of the UK’s exit from the EU.</p> more like this
