<p>Other than minor or bespoke purchases, the Scotland Office does not normally undertake
direct procurement or tendering projects. It uses existing service contracts between
suppliers and the Scottish Government or the Ministry of Justice.</p><p> </p><p>Since
May 2010, only one contract has been contracted out by the Scotland Office. This was
issued to the Royal Mail in 2011-12 for its role in providing candidates' free mailing
in the Scottish Parliament election of 2011, the value of which was just over £6.4
million.</p><p> </p><p>We do not record information on pro bono costs nor the number
of work days contracted out each year.</p><p> </p><p>Since January 2011, central government
departments have been required to publish details of contracts above the value of
£10,000 on Contracts Finder. Contracts published prior to 26 February 2015 can be
