answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 17/10/2018 answer text <p>The United Kingdom already has robust, domestic regimes in place for the safety, security, transport, use and disposal of nuclear and radioactive materials – including medical radioisotopes – throughout their lifecycle. question text	To ask Her Majesty's Government what steps they are taking to ensure that the UK radiopharmaceutical supply after leaving Euratom might be relied upon to not have an impact on patients, in terms of (1) timeliness of delivery, and (2) the quantity supplied of radiopharmaceutical supplies produced (a) in the EU, and (b) outside the EU.

answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 01/02/2018 answer text <p>The Government is fully aware of the importance of medical radioisotopes and the reliance on nuclear medicine for diagnostic procedures in the National Health Service. The United Kingdom’s ability to import medical isotopes from Europe and the rest of the world will not be affected by withdrawal from Euratom. It is in the interest of both the UK and European Union to avoid disruption in the timely access of treatment to patients; and to ensure that cross-border trade with the EU is frictionless as possible.
