answer text <p>HM Passport Office (HMPO) received 6 complaints during the period 2014 to 2015 relating to the passport services offered on the website provided by UK Services and Support Limited. HMPO, in conjunction with the Cabinet Office Digital Service, is working with the Office of Fair Trading, the Advertising Standards Authority, search engine providers and various trading standard bodies to curtail the activities of websites that advertise their services in a way which may be misleading to the public. HMPO has specifically worked with <br>Google for sponsored adverts from third party websites to be taken down and not to appear above the natural search results.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p> more like this

answer text <p>The gov.uk website sets out expected turnaround times for applications made in <br>the UK and, on a country-by-country basis, for applications made overseas. HM <br>Passport Office aims to deal with applications within published turnaround <br>times, but this is a guideline only as there are a number of factors that can <br>affect how long it takes to process an application. <br>The premium and fast track service provide a guaranteed turnaround period of <br>four hours and seven days respectively on payment of an additional fee, <br>provided the applicant has submitted all the relevant information and the <br>necessary security requirements are met.</p><p> </p> more like this

That would be an operational decision for the agency concerned and figures are not collated centrally. People may be refused a British passport or may have their existing passport withdrawn on a number of grounds, including that their grant or continued enjoyment of a passport is contrary to the public interest. answer text <p>Persons may be refused a British passport or may have their existing passport withdrawn on a number of grounds, including that their grant or continued enjoyment of passport facilities is contrary to the public interest. Public interest grounds include seeking to harm the UK or its allies by travelling on a British passport to, for example, engage in terrorism-related activity.</p><p>From November 2013 to 11 November 2014, the Royal Prerogative power to withdraw or refuse a British Passport has been exercised 21 times on public interest grounds against British citizens thought to be involved in the support of ISIL and other extremist groups in Syria and Iraq.</p><p> </p> more like this

answer text <p>Entry Clearance applications are divided into settlement and non-settlement categories. The ‘settlement’ category includes applications to bring an adopted non-EU child to the UK.
