answer text <p>The UK remains committed to the Global Coalition Against Daesh and is the second largest contributor to Operation INHERENT RESOLVE.</p><p> </p><p>As part of this military contribution, the UK provides support and funding for a range of initiatives across the region, including providing training, mentoring and professional military education to the Iraqi Security Forces. The UK has trained over 111,000 members of Iraqi Security forces, including over 21,000 of the Kurdish Peshmerga.</p><p>The UK also leads the Coalition’s counter-Daesh communications activity, working with Government and civil society partners.</p> more like this

answer text <p>The UK has not conducted any airstrikes against ISIS-K under Operation HERRICK or Operation TORAL.</p><p>Under Operation SHADER, the UK's contribution to the US-led Coalition, Operation INHERENT RESOLVE, the UK has conducted airstrikes against Daesh in Iraq and Syria. The UK has accepted responsibility for one Civilian Casualty that occurred during an airstrike on Daesh fighters in eastern Syria on the 26th March 2018. answer text <p>Since military operations began, the Global Coalition and its partners in Syria and Iraq have recaptured almost all the territory once held by Daesh, and important advances have been made in recent weeks in the last area of eastern Syria to be occupied by Daesh.</p><p>As the United States has made clear, their announcement does not signal the end of the Coalition or its campaign. Much remains to be done and Daesh will remain a threat even without territory. The UK remains committed to the Coalition and its objective of ensuring Daesh's enduring defeat.
