Investment decisions by BMW, Toyota and Nissan were announced as follows:<ul><li>On 25 July 2017, BMW announced that a fully electric version of the Mini will be built at the Cowley plant in Oxford.</li></ul> <ul><li>On 16 March 2017 Toyota Motor Europe announced that it is investing £240 million to upgrade its car plant in Burnaston, Derbyshire.</li></ul> <ul><li>On 27 October 2016 Nissan announced it would build the next models of the Qashqai and the X-Trail at its Sunderland plant.</li></ul>
