Since its introduction in 2014 FHTB has helped over 14,300 Service personnel purchase their own property, totalling over £215 million, an average of approximately £15,000 per claim. The Armed Forces Continuous Attitude Survey 2018 indicates that since 2015 the proportion of Other Ranks owning their own home has increased by 5%.
