answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 11/01/2017 answer text <p>I visited a foodbank in my capacity as a Member of Parliament earlier in this parliamentary term.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>The reasons behind foodbank use are complex and it is widely acknowledged that food bank use cannot be attributed to a single cause. The UK Government is clear that work is the best route out of poverty, and the number of people in employment in Scotland is up by 123,000 since 2010.
