answer text <p>The Department works closely with the Office of Gas and Electricity Markets (Ofgem) to monitor consumer experience of smart meters.</p><p> </p><p>The smart meter rollout has high levels of consumer satisfaction: evidence shows that nearly 8 in 10 consumers are satisfied with the smart meter installation process. Research from Ofgem has found that smart meter-related complaints make up a very small proportion of total complaints to energy suppliers, relative to the level of smart meter take-up across Great Britain.</p> more like this
