As of 21 November, we have committed £230 million.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The vast majority of our commitment will be spent tackling this crisis in Sierra Leone, where the UK is leading the international response. Entry screening at these ports is estimated to cover 97% of through ticketed arrivals from affected countries.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Other ports of entry are covered remotely when Border Force notify of passengers travelling to the United Kingdom on indirect flights. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 10/11/2014 answer text <p>The Chief Medical Officer wrote to National Health Service medical and nursing directors on 19 September seeking volunteers to help efforts on the ground in West Africa. Currently over 1000 NHS staff and 185 staff from Public Health England have put their names forward through UK MED which runs the <em>UK International Emergency Medical Register </em>(UKIEMR).</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The programme comprises a robust selection process, pre-deployment vaccinations and occupational health and psychological screening, training in the UK with further training and mentoring in Sierra Leone, and advice and support on monitoring health on return. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 06/11/2014 answer text <p>The National Maritime Information Centre (NMIC) is reporting to interested government departments the movement and expected arrival information of vessels that have been in ports or anchorages in Guinea, Liberia or Sierra Leone within the Ebola incubation period (21 days). This information is made available to the ports and shipping communities, including port health authorities.</p><p> </p><p>There are six ships on the current Vessels of Interest (VoI) list which have, within the last 21 days, visited ports in the three countries affected by the Ebola outbreak. A total of 67 VoIs has been identified in the last two months. Most of these vessels have not called at a UK port but were rather travelling to neighbouring countries.
