answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 26/10/2023 answer text <p>HM Government does not routinely provide funding for historical sites outside the UK or the Overseas Territories.</p><p>In some cases, particularly with reference to war memorials, HM Government can contribute towards funding together with the host country. There are several sources of funding from Government Arm’s Length Bodies, such as the National Lottery Heritage Fund and Historic England’s repair grants.
