answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 14/01/2019 answer text <p>I warmly welcome the Chemistry Council’s strategy “Sustainable Innovation for a Better World” published in November.</p><p> </p><p>Sector Deals are a key part of our Industrial Strategy and we have agreed nine Deals to date.</p><p> </p><p>The Industrial Strategy White Paper set out six expectations for industry-led Sector Deal proposals. We anticipate entering into negotiations with some further sectors that can best meet those expectations.</p><p> </p><p>I welcome the chemistry sector’s interest in a Deal. My rt. hon. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 11/12/2017 answer text <p>We are working to ensure a smooth transition for the chemical industry as we leave the EU.</p><p> </p><p>The European Union (Withdrawal Bill) will convert existing EU chemicals law, including REACH, into domestic law wherever practical, giving consumers and businesses as much certainty as possible. The UK is strongly committed to the effective and safe management of chemicals.
