Additionally, we are prioritising cases where an individual has already received a decision, but a reconsideration is required.</p><p>This approach is intended to bring balance back to the asylum system. We have engaged with stakeholders as part of our plans to introduce new service standards. answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 26/10/2018 answer text <p>The Home Office provides asylum seekers and their dependants who would otherwise be destitute with free furnished accommodation (rent and utility free) and a weekly cash allowance to cover their other essential living needs.
